The emails, received around 10 AM, claimed the presence of explosive devices within the malls, threatening to cause mass casualties. The sender of the email targeting Ambience Mall explicitly stated an intent to “kill everyone in the building.”

Panic as Malls Evacuated: Swift action was initiated by local authorities upon receiving the threats. Police forces, bomb disposal squads, and civil defense teams were immediately dispatched to both malls to conduct thorough searches.

Search Operations Underway at Malls: The malls were evacuated as a precautionary measure, causing significant inconvenience to shoppers and mall staff.

Civil Defense Confirms Bomb Threat: Mohit Sharma, Chief of the Gurugram Civil Defense Team, confirmed the receipt of the bomb threat and the ensuing search operations.

No Explosives Found Yet: As of now, no explosive devices have been found in either mall. However, the security forces are continuing their investigations to ascertain the credibility of the threats and identify the perpetrators.
